HISTORY:
Originally founded in 1989 by Hank Godsey. Coming from a background in sales management for a prominent lighting manufacturer, Hank recognized the need for manufacturer representatives and successfully pitched the concept to his previous employer. This led to the creation of our agency, which was then known as H.L. Godsey & Associates. In 1995, the company underwent a rebranding and was renamed N.C.S. (Northern California Sales). Over the years, the agency built a strong reputation for offering innovative products, solutions, and extensive knowledge of the lighting industry. In 2014, a long-term employee, Shannon Jordan, became the new president, and N.C.S. was reincorporated as Nor Cal Systems, LLC. Today, Nor Cal Systems is a proud female-owned agency offering best-in-industry products and solutions for the municipal, utility, and DOT markets.
